The Gyalwang Karmapa reached Tergar Monastery

The Gyalwang Karmapa left Dharamsala on Tuesday 9th December and in
the early evening of Wednesday 10th he reached Tergar Monastery, Bodh
Gaya, where he will be staying throughout the Karma Gunchoe (the Karma
Kagyu Winter Debate session) and the 2009 Kagyu Monlam.
Hundreds of monks from the Karma Gunchoe, 120 young monks from Tergar
Monastery, and many laypeople lined the route to the monastery offering
khatag, incense and lotus flowers to greet him as he arrived.
He was received by Mingyur Rinpoche and the Khenpos attending the Karma
Gunchoe.
